Federal Minister Heinisch Hosek visits VTU

VTU Managing Director for organization Dr. Friedrich Fröschl and Personnel Manager DI Andrea Ahn were happy to welcome an official visitation from federal chancellery of the republic of Austria on Friday, 9th of October: The federal minister for woman affairs Gabriele Heinisch-Hosek attended by a member of the Styrian government, the Styrian minister for youth, family and education Mag. Elisabeth Grossmann visited the headquarters of the VTU-Group at Grambach near Graz.

After a company presentation followed a guided presentation tour on the grounds of VTU-headquarters during which the federal minister and the Styrian minister were very interested in the in-house pilot plant section as well as the VTU-laboratories.
The two politicians were visibly impressed by the exceptionally high percentage of women (24%) at VTU's technical jobs.
The personnel policy of the Styrian plant-designer gathered plenty of commendation from the federal woman minister and the Styrian family minister.
The employees are the company’s capital, that’s why within the group there is great importance attached to retention of competent employees on the one hand and at the other hand to the best possible assistance of the employees with their re-entry after maternity leave at the best.
