Well-qualified engineers who put their hearts and souls into looking after our customers and who, together, are able to find the best solution. Candidates should excel in both technical or organizational project management, as well as working as experts in an advisory capacity on customer or R&D projects.
Which technical areas are we particularly focusing on?
Curious? Then take a look at what we have to offer.
Almost 30 years ago, we began as a small but excellent engineering firm. Today, we are an international corporation with more than 650 employees at 24 locations in 6 countries.
Our most important asset: mastering planning tasks for large
projects around the world and in the most varied sectors.
We are just as well-versed in the pharmaceutical industry
as we are in the world of chemistry, oil or gas.
However, our expertise lies not only in plant planning, but also in the complete project management thereof – from concept development right through to start-up. We also take on qualification and validation services for the pharmaceutical industry.
We believe that it is particularly important to always be at the
cutting edge of technology, as well as to grow constantly.
We know that if you want the best talent, you have to give your best, too. Only attractive employers are able to appeal to applicants and inspire their people long-term.
What do we do to achieve this? We plan out exactly which jobs require which skills and specifically search for those people who best suit this description – both internally and externally.
Career progression is perfectly natural at VTU. We offer you plenty of creative freedom to develop your talents – whether this means a specialist career, a management role or highly-qualified project work. With us, you decide where your path leads. We support you by offering systematic further training and career planning. And these are not merely empty words; as an employer, we have ourselves regularly evaluated. To date, Hewitt has awarded us with their “Attractive Employer” prize four times. We have also received the “Great Place to Work” seal of approval three times. This is how we do quality assurance at VTU.
So that you can get a clear idea of how we tick, let us say a few words on our corporate culture. It could be a trait left over from the time that we were still a small company, but we stick together through thick and thin and provide each other with mutual support.
Our employees are well networked with one another – across all levels of the hierarchy. Regular interaction and a great deal of company events promote our open culture of communication. As we often work together in different teams and customer structures within our projects, we are used to thinking outside the box.
We are always happy to do sport together. Whether this means running events, mountain bike tours or sailing trips, VTU is happy to encourage and support you so that, together, we can keep moving. And another thing: we love a party. Time and time again, whether you’ve successfully completed a project, whether it’s Christmas, or whether you’re celebrating an event in your private life, we are always happy to come together to celebrate.
“Within the company, we can all speak plainly and informally to one another – that makes many things easier.”
“You are quick to receive exciting tasks with responsibility here.”
“People can rely on one another and provide each other with mutual support.”
“Here, if something goes wrong, we look for a solution and not for someone to blame.”
“The uppermost floor of management chats to everyone in a friendly manner – no matter whether you’re new or a member of the management team”
“We’re a strong team – colleagues often turn into
friends.”
