Together, the two companies can already take the cybersecurity into account in the planning and development stage of production facilities and therefore give their customers the "security" they need to go down the path towards Industry 4.0.
The two cooperation partners have already carried out the first joint project for an infrastructure service provider operating throughout Europe in the form of the implementation of NIS guidelines and IEC 62443 with connection to IT.
"T&G is the ideal partner for us in cybersecurity because T&G also comes from the automation industry, so they have a broad understanding of our customers and their needs. With T&G, we have now found the "independent partner" that makes sense from a security point of view, as a cybersecurity concept should always be reviewed by someone from the outside."
Armin Taschek, Head of Business Development Digitalisation & Automation at T&G, is very satisfied with the cooperation:
"In VTU we have a partner with enormous reach and expertise, where we also complement each other perfectly in the area of OT cybersecurity. With the number of cyber attacks on the rise, it is extremely important to take the right cybersecurity measures, especially at automation level. Through this cooperation, our customers can ensure plant availability, increase delivery reliability and boost customer confidence – without sacrificing the benefits of digitalisation!"
