Muttenz, February 2020 – Alongside the headquarters, five other branches in Austria and eight sites in Germany, VTU is now opening a fourth branch in Switzerland. This means that the expansion of the specialists in the area of plant design and EPCMv project implementation for the process industry continues into the DACH region, which is also shown by the appointment of Hendrik Pantlen as the new Head of Business Development for Switzerland.

With around 650 highly qualified employees at 25 sites, the international VTU group is also active beyond the DACH region with sites in Italy, Poland and Romania. The new branch in Valais in Switzerland will now be managed by Rainer Haynl.

"Opening the new site allows us even better collaboration with our existing customers. We have created a framework to be able to grow in future, and build on our position as a partner of the process industry," says Mario Haupt, Managing Director of VTU Engineering Schweiz.

Hendrik Pantlen, Head of Business Development at VTU Engineering Schweiz will join the team. The life sciences expert will now manage business development and sales in the Swiss subsidiary of the VTU group.
