How can I apply?

Use our online application form on our website’s careers portal to ensure rapid processing in line with data protection requirements: Simply click “Online application” in the job description and upload your most important data (name, contact details, etc.) as well as your application documents (CV, motivation letter and certificates, if applicable). You will then receive a confirmation email that your application has been successfully received by VTU. 

 

At the moment there is nothing suitable for me. How can I submit an unsolicited application?

Since we are constantly on the lookout for qualified specialists, you can submit an unsolicited application at any time. Simply click “Unsolicited application" on our careers page. Fill out the application form and upload your application documents. Please also indicate the area you would like to work in and possible locations. Once everything has been submitted successfully, you will then receive a confirmation email that your application has been received by VTU. 

 

How does the application process work?

1. You apply online using our application form – click “Online portal” in the respective job advertisement. In addition to the most important data (name, contact details, etc.), you can easily upload your application documents (CV, motivation letter and certificates) here.

 

2. After about two weeks (may vary depending on the position), you will receive initial feedback on your application.

 

3. This is followed by a personal interview with the department at VTU which you have applied for. This will take place online using Microsoft Teams or on site at one of our locations. Further discussions will be held, depending on the position. You will receive more detailed information about the interview process from the responsible recruiter. 

 

4. Once a final decision has been made, our HR team will contact you to discuss the next steps. 

What advice do you have for the interview?

Think in advance about what is attractive to you about VTU and the vacant position. We want to get to know you better, so talk about your qualifications as well as professional and personal experience. Simply be yourself and be authentic in the interview. As we are looking for long-term employees, feel free to ask questions to find out if we are your “Great Place to Work”.  

 

What will my first day/start at VTU be like?

On your first day of work, you can expect extensive onboarding, during which you will be accompanied by our colleagues from the Human Relations department. Your workstation and equipment are ready and waiting for you to get started.
With ongoing training, constant dialogue with your supervisor and colleagues as well as our buddy programme, we do our best to ensure that you quickly settle in with us. Our open corporate culture makes it possible for you to contact the relevant person quickly and easily if you have any questions or concerns, so you will soon feel part of VTU.
