Technical Project Lead / Engineering Manager for EPCM Projects in Process Plant Engineering (f/m/d)

Your contribution to our success:

• In this responsible role, you will manage all technical disciplines and oversee the planning and execution of technical activities, playing a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale projects. You will also apply your process engineering expertise in challenging situations.
• Ensure implementation of the technical concept in accordance with the project contract
• Execute and optimize plant design with respect to project budget, schedule, company policies and standards, and customer requirements
• Organize planning workflows, monitor progress and quality throughout the project
• Coordinate technical disciplines, lead and manage the engineering team (especially regarding resources, tasks, timelines, and costs), and support the project team with technical know-how and expertise
• Develop standards and the project-specific engineering manual in coordination with the client and internal interfaces
• Review and approve deliverables, including those from suppliers, for accuracy and completeness; plan and manage FATs and SATs
• Prepare, review, update, and approve project documentation
• Monitor and contribute to the identification of project risks and the development of mitigation plans
• Facilitate project meetings and act as the technical point of contact for the client

Your profile:

• Completed technical degree in process engineering, plant or mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Project management training is an advantage
• Entrepreneurial mindset and customer orientation
• At least 10–15 years of relevant professional experience in engineering management of large-scale projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
• Broad interdisciplinary technical knowledge and solid experience in industrial project engineering
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and team orientation combined with commitment and a hands-on mentality
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
• German skills required for internal communication
• Experience working in the Swiss work culture is desirable
• Willingness to travel
