Control (EI&C) & Automation Designer (f/m)

Scope of responsibilities:

  • Plan the automation part of the project: Define what needs to be done and how the control systems/automation work will be executed. Support safety, quality, and compliance checks.
  • Coordinate partners and suppliers: Act as the company’s representative when working with external contractors, suppliers, other engineering teams, or authorities.
  • Track project progress: Monitor timelines, keep an overview of the work, and prepare project reports.
  • Support cost planning: Help create cost estimates depending on the project phase.
  • Prepare final project documentation: Deliver all required “as built” documents at project completion.
  • Perform site supervision: Ensure the project is built according to the design (local author’s supervision).
  • Provide technical input for other teams: Prepare technical assumptions and information that other engineering disciplines need for their work.

Requirements:

  • Minimum requirement: Bachelor of Science in Low Voltage Systems, Instrumentation, or Controls Engineering, including Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS)
  • More than 2 years of project experience in industrial electrical, instrumentation, and controls (EI&C)
  • Chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnological or oil & gas experience in operations and/or maintenance environment a plus
  • Competence in low voltage power distribution, covering equipment specs, wiring and one line diagrams, motor elementaries, power studies, and hazardous area classification
  • Background in one or more project phases such as initiation, definition and planning, or project closing
  • Your language skills: Polish and English at communicative level, knowledge of German will be an asset
  • Willingness to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Well organized team player with strong communication skills and resilience under time pressure
