Donating instead of gift-giving

VTU Group supports aid organisations with EUR 30.000

For many years, the VTU Group has donated each year at Christmas time to charitable organisations, while foregoing for this reason Christmas gifts for customers and partners. This year, a donation totalling EUR 30,000 is going to two aid organisations: Doctors Without Borders and SOS Children's Villages International.

Due to the Covid19 pandemic, many companies are experiencing significant economic challenges this year. Despite this, the VTU Group has decided, at this of all times, not just to maintain the tradition of donating but to increase last year's donation amount by EUR 10,000 to EUR 30,000. In this exceptional time, international and politically independent aid organisations in particular are dependent on private donations. Therefore, VTU would like to support the valuable work of the aid organisations.

Robert Wutti, Managing Director at VTU Engineering GmbH

"A really turbulent year is coming to an end. Time for us and our employees to think about those who require support. With our donation, we of course want to help make the world a bit better but also to say thank you to all the tireless helpers who are doing such a splendid job around the world," says Robert Wutti, Managing Director at VTU Engineering GmbH.

The special thing this year is that the VTU employees were involved in the process by means of an internal online survey and had the opportunity to choose which charitable organisations were to be supported with a donation. A great response saw the VTU employees express their desire to support emergency medical aid in crisis areas and organisations providing aid to children.
