VTU is pleased to be featured in the current issue of the specialist magazine Zement+Beton (1/2025).
Together with Alpacem and under the scientific direction of Montanuniversität Leoben in Austria, VTU has worked on an innovative process control to optimize raw meal production. The goal is to replace CO₂-intensive primary raw materials with sustainable substitute raw materials (ERS) – a crucial step towards climate neutrality in the cement and concrete industry.
Thanks to intelligent inline analytics and proactive control, significant quality improvements have been achieved and the CO₂ footprint has already been significantly reduced.
