Maximilian Schrems appointed new Managing Director at VTU Engineering Switzerland

VTU is pleased to announce the appointment of Maximilian Schrems as the new Managing Director of VTU Engineering Switzerland. With his extensive experience in managing complex capital projects and his in-depth expertise in pharmaceutical plant engineering, Maximilian Schrems brings the ideal qualifications to significantly drive the strategic development of the company in Switzerland.

After completing his architecture studies at ETH Zurich, Maximilian Schrems began his professional career at Leutwyler Architects, where he contributed to the Roche Campus in Rotkreuz and gained initial insights into pharmaceutical projects. He then worked as a doctoral candidate and lecturer at ETH Zurich. Before completing his doctorate, he joined NNE Pharmaplan AG, where he built up the Architecture, Laboratories & Logistics department as Senior Architect. Two years later, he took over the management of the Zurich office and was entrusted with overall responsibility for the architecture department as Department Manager. In recent years, he served at Pharmaplan AG as Director of Investment Projects, responsible for all investment projects with a volume exceeding CHF 20 million, and also acted as Deputy Managing Director.
